    "Waiting for Santa"

    Christmas is my favourite holiday and this scene is the one scene that alwaytypifies christmas for me. Everything is Lightwave 5.6. Happy Holidaysto all.

    "Country Christmas"

    The inspiration for the setting in this image is from a friend's home in Bucks County PA. The mood in the old farm house is warm yet not dark. Themodel is not a reproduction of that house's main room. It's just a setting Iput together. The lighting was the tricky part. Eighteen lights are used torecreate the setting, all using shadow maps.

    "Snow-Surfer"

    Of course the image was made completely with Lightwave 5.6. The textures for the Sky, the deformation-map for the mountains in the background and the alpha-maps for the twigs of the trees and for the snow-dust are painted in Photoshop. All other textures are createdwith the normal Lightwave shaders. After rendering there was no editing at the picture anymore.

    That's all for now and this year. Now I will go for my favorite holidays and wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year.
