I felt that even though most of the work was original and of top notch quality, the top three really stayed closer to the contest guidelines by pushing the envelope of tricking the eye into seeing something else.

Man, Taron's work is impressive to say the least. Spooky!

It's Taron. What else is there to say? !!! 8^|

I would appreciat it if I could see more of Taron's work.it's really cool Thanks

Great to see more contest I will be entering. What's up for July???

The eye was instantly drawn to #1 entry. Good illustration of LightWave Power! Entry #7 almost got my 1St place vote (and perhaps should have as it does an excellent job of main- taining the Escher spirit. Better lighting and softer texture would have made it a shoe-in) Entry #4 is great but appears less escher-like ... perhaps if I had more time to analyze it (or a larger format) it would have rated higher. Thanks for the contests .... keep 'em up !

Well, 3rd best ain't too bad...

I realy like the EschersWorld.jpg it seems to capture the idea exactly

If this is a repeat vote..please ignore it.. if not. please accept it.. my machine crashed when I tried to submit it the first time

Too few pictures in this month.

Some good images here - Some aren't exactly what I'd term 'Illusions' but more 'Fantasy' or 'Wierd' images... Apart from that, the three I've selected were my favourites - Entry #08 being particularly hard to work out if it was a render or a picture from a book (But on closer inspection I noticed the 'Crumple' map on the roof of the house!)

Great pics!

It would be great to know the process of creation of the images, where the solution came from (for create the image and how to make it). At last from the first places. Thanks for listening.

Great talent is shown in all entries.

Great talent is shown in all entries.

All excellent entries this month!

The city in the globe is fabulous.

While there were some very good interpertations of Escher's work, I was more impressed by the contestants who managed to push the boundaries further by doing their own thing, or reapproaching familiar ideas from a nicely skewed angle. After some consideration, I decided to make my third place the waterfall, because of the very well done modeling... The work is really sharp, and the illusion is pretty much perfectly attained. But it was a tie between it and the checker's picture. :^)

Outstanding

...very good entries !

The images keep gettin better and better.

Really great ones this month !

Taron's image was very cool and original, and I find it captures the essence of this contest. Peter Bowmar's was very enjoyable as well.

good

Maybe I'll put an image someday :)

There are some exceptional original images this month!

Taron is the purest raw talent I've ever seen. Maybe he's just one of God's plug-ins.

Cool Topic!

All of them are good, as well as very bizzare!

Well, my voting was swayed by the term
