    Cow Walkers vs The PorscheSpeeders

    You never know where the Lightwave Cow and Porsche will show up next! Both classic objects have been contorted and "dressed up" for this dramatic re-enactment of a famous movie scene. This scene was modeled and rendered in Lightwave 5.5.

    The Prodigal cow

    Bessy was happy to renew her contract with NewTek and reappear on the 5.5 CDROM. But she was surprised to learn that this contract's small print required the move to San Antonio. Texas isn't bad at all, but Bessy's heart will always belong to Topeka. There was just something magical about the Kansas sunrises. For the Holiday season she returned to the hayfield of her birth.

    The most difficult part of this scene was photoshopping the clipmaps for the hay that are mapped to 21 flat planes. I underestimated how tough it would be to create realistic looking grass.
